It introduces you to soccer and explores the basic four components of the game. You also get to discuss styles of play, systems of play, and strategies. An emphasis on team management and organization structure rounds out this introductory course getting you fully prepared to coach your soccer team.

​Coaching the Youth Game

Understanding the different facets of the game helps you grow as a coach. This course highlights the basics to help you run your trainings more smoothly, get the most out of your players, and help you get started on your coaching career.

It discusses small-sided games and their rationale and develop lesson plans. This course also touches roles and responsibilities of head coach and assistant coach. The content also prepares you to examine how to choose the right organization that best suits you and determine whether recreational or competitive teams are for you. Taking care of your players is crucial so this course covers basic injury care and prevention.
